The Arkansas Whetstone Soft is mounted on a cedar wood block and works in the same way as a bench stone. It lies flat on a flat surface and can be sused with oil or water to give a fine degree of edge. Moisten the stone and gently move the knife blade in circular motions. Great for finishing off an edge and works very well on a Scandi grind. Â
